OUR STORY...

Hightone Restorations was established in 1979 by Malcolm Elder and Tony Dennett, although December 2006 saw the company undergo a change of ownership through retirement. This, however, represented the only change as the company retained its team of highly skilled craftsmen as well as preserving the values and ethos that underpinned the success of the company over the years. It is these values, together with maintaining our fine reputation for quality craftsmanship, which are key to ensuring our continued success.

In March 2008 the company moved from Enstone to a new purpose-built premises at Hopcrofts Holt, near Steeple Aston. We are conveniently located to Bicester Heritage, which is just 9 miles away.

We are renowned for our high class bodywork repairs and painting, but are also very capable in all aspects of bodywork including ash framing, panel manufacturing, aluminium welding as well as mechanical rebuilds and servicing.

We have restored a wide range of cars including Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Rover, MG, Darracq, Bean, Lagonda, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Daimler, Talbot, Aston Martin, Facel Vega and Lanchester.

We have extensive experience in restoring Alvis cars of all ages including Speed 20, Speed 25, 12/50, Firefly, TA21, TC21/100 and TD/E/F Models.
